The answer to the OP's question is actually "both".
Peace and hate aren't opposites of each other. We all hate a lot of things. We hate long lines, some of us hate vegetables, we hate crime, we hate high prices, and we hate disrespectful children. But we all want peace.
Just because we want to live somewhere with less crime, and better schools, and better people, doesn't mean we want to wage war, and kill all the inhabitants of places with high crime and bad schools.
In truth, a gated-community is just one step away from building a wall on the border of your country.
The purpose of a gated-community is to keep out people who "don't belong", or who might cause problems in your community.

What the white-nationalists want, is basically to create a massive gated-community, to keep out people who don't belong, and/or who might cause problems in their communities.
You are right, and the flip side of that is that it would keep white people, or at least "white nationalists", away from the people who claim to be victimized by them. What's not to like? It's a win-win, right?

Blacks put there blackness first and have been for years . They play the victim card all the time.
Walk in a white persons shoes and know injustice happens to all races and colors . Life is no cake walk for white people.

I put my culture first and so do the vast majority of "black" people I know. We are mostly recent Americans - immigrants and first-generation born Americans. Culture is FIRST or religion.
It is American culture that pushes a racial label on us. It has been white America that pushed racial labels on people of African origin from the inception of the U.S. People of African origin fought to hold to their cultures/ethnicities until they were beaten out of them. They never chose racial labels and you know it.
To this day, the U.S. forces racial labels on people of Africa origin, with no opportunity for cultural/ethnic identification.
I will NEVER lose my cultural identity or push it aside for the American racial obsession...NEVER.

Psychoanalytically-speaking, they have an extreme inferiority-complex. Their virtue-signaling is manifested by their feelings of insecurity, and a constant need for approval.
It is why they ramble and rant about equality. Equality is always framed as being about political equality, but what they actually want, is to be thought of as equal in all aspects. To be "just as good", "just as desired", etc.
A good example of this is the gay-marriage issue. They were offered Civil-Unions, which would be legally the same as marriage, with only a name-change. That wasn't good enough for them. Because it was never about politics, or legality, or rights. It was about approval.
This is why the liberal is constantly worried about how people in other countries see America. They are in constant need of approval, to be loved. It is the mark of the narcissist.
Daddy or momma(probably both) didn't love them. And that is why they are incapable of standing on their own feet. That is why it hurts them so much when anyone thinks badly of them. They have no foundation on which to stand. They have nothing to hold back the flood. The merest word cuts them straight to the bone, because they don't have the strength of character, nor the familial support, to shield them.
While they may wish they could "agree to disagree", they can't. It makes them miserable. And so long as they think they have the power, and the right, they will do everything they can to force the world to love them.
White lives do matter. It's an important message that people in this thread apparently disagree with.
Of course white lives matter. I have never had a moment's fear in my life, over my color, because it's generally taken as a given that white lives matter.
I have no problem whatsoever with black people wanting the same kind of security.
I don't know a single person that would disagree with your first sentence. Ask a BLM activist, regular guy on the street, or a conservative farmer... they'd all agree.
The interesting thing here is that white lives have always mattered. What exactly is the protest?
BLM is saying that Black Lives Matter, TOO (emphasis on "TOO") - Not that they matter more, or that other lives don't matter.
This is a pretty important detail.
People love to deliberately misunderstand these things. It reminds me of those who pretend not to know what President Obama meant when he said "You didn't build that." The fact that the key word, "alone" was implied should be plain to anyone with a brain, just like the implied "too," in the phrase Black Lives Matter.

The KKK never had any policy of trying to kill blacks. The Klan had policies supporting segregation of whites and blacks and policies to prevent blacks from using the political process to gain power over whites.
And then, when blacks didn't "know their place," they killed them.

No white person alive today waa a slave owner and many whites back in the day of slavery were not slave owners. Blacks and whites owned slaves. Today there is still slavery in Africa. Blacks owning blacks as slaves.
In Niger there are almost 1 million slaves even though recently it was outlawed but it still goes on. There is human trafficking. Now if blacks want to speak against slavery for real , let them tell those blacks in other countries to stop the slavery.
Here in America blacks have it much better than in Africa. They don't see it that way at all. Blacks still play the race card and constantly beat that drum as if every white person living was a slave owner.
So lets get real and look at the world and the people in it as it really is.

Former KKK leader Frazier Glenn Miller, Jr. who murdered three people after opening fire at a local Jewish community center in Overland Park, Kansas, ...
Last year, three people were stabbed by members and supporters of the KKK while protesting against their rally in California. In Charlottesville, VA earlier this year, KKK members marched with Nazis and assaulted assorted citizens. One was killed and several injured.
