Let me ask you the same thing. Are you ok with Hillary and how she conducted herself during and after the election?

He's rather entertaining, so he has that going for him, but he should never be allowed in public without a handler and a shock collar.

On the other hand, all I hear from the left is how I'm evil because of my gender and skin color, how I shouldn't be allowed to have the means to defend myself, and how I should support "social justice" causes because it's the "right" thing to do. Sorry if I'm not going to run out and support some poor idiots who think that blocking interstates is a brilliant idea or some rich idiots who think that by taking a knee prior to a game that they get paid $millions$ to play they're making a statement about injustice.

Meanwhile, I operate my life on a live and let live basis. I treat other people the way that I want to be treated, and if I see someone being denigrated over race, religion, sexual orientation, or anything else that is nobody's business I'll be the first to defend them. That doesn't mean that I need to get all worked up about Trump and family spending a fortune on their vacations or over politics in Washington being run exactly the same as they've been run my entire life. If liberals had been half this upset over the crap that Obama pulled in the office I might have some respect for them, but as usual because he was "one of theirs" his trampling of the Constitution and active attempts to start a race war were overlooked. Now that Trump is in office, the liberals come out of the woodwork like hysterical cockroaches talking about how the government needs to be reined in even though Trump isn't actually doing anything that is much different from what Obama did.

In case that was too much to read, I'll sum it up. I'm tired of both Republicans and Democrats being blinded by partisanship and refusing to admit that both of their parties have completely gone off the deep end of insanity. If y'all don't want to do anything about your own parties, why should I get involved in it either? I did my part, I voted for someone else. The rest of y'all, the ones that failed to realize that the establishment was playing you like a harp, are on your own. Trump will be out of office in about 7 years (could be faster except the DNC is still playing the same identity politics that helped them lose last time) and I'll probably vote third party again. My choice won't win, but at least I'll be able to say that I didn't have to hold my nose to vote for "my" candidate. We've had bad presidents before, and we'll have bad presidents again. Either that or one of these days the world blows up. Either way, nothing I can do about it other than laugh at the stupidity of American politics and the gullibility of American voters.

When it comes to actual policy such as gun control, immigration, or anything else that can directly affect my ability to provide for and protect my family, I'll weigh in with my opinion. When it comes to the president spending money like a drunken sailor, which didn't start with and won't end with the current POTUS, that's business as usual. If you don't like it, stop nominating candidates that can be beaten by a giant Cheeto and nominate someone who actually gives a damn about the American people. For once, pretend that the Democrat party actually is the party of the people, rather than just paying lip service to the idea.
This is an excellent response and says it far better than I could.

Sorry, republicans gave us Trump not democrats. There were so many qualified rebublicans yet they chose Trump. And no the spending of Trump is not business as usual. He's exceeded the limit many months ago. Do you even have a clue what it costs us for Trump to go to his "winter white house" every weekend.

I also said Trump should pay all costs associated with his wife when she stayed in NYC. Find that thread and look.

I have no patience for it, and I'll call it out regardless of party.

Do you think it is strictly a GOP issue?
Kudos to you. I feel the same way. I'm happy to call out waste and corruption. What I have no time for is people who just grew a conscious 6 months ago once Trump got in office & now try to act righteous. You've shown your posts, now I'd like to see their posts regarding the numerous scandals under the Obama admin or various Clinton regimes.

Let me know when it gets to 10 trillion, the amount that disappeared under Obama's watch.

I'd love to see your archived posts on that topic, or appointing a tax cheat to head of the treasury, or fracking the hell out of our country, or letting BP (Obama's #1 campaign donor) skip the standard safety requirements in the gulf, or your criticism of Obama getting us into a war in Syria that costs much more than Trump's golf trips, or on his deporting more Brown people than every president in US history combined, etc. etc. Outrage is so much more authentic when it's applied evenly.

Why, Obama isn't president anymore so why would it matter now. I think we should focus on the present don't you.

I am talking about Trump's expenditures going to Mar A Lago every weekend which costs us a fortune.

In other words, don’t confuse the issue with facts. You’re a partisan apologist and a hypocrite.

You want to vilify Trump (who rightfully deserves a lot of it), but let’s not address Obama because he’s not president anymore.

The whole point of the thread is asking why people allegedly give Trump and his circus a “free pass”. It’s the same with Obama and Hillary or any politician. They get free passes from their supporters. But you already knew that. Can you admit it?
