They never leave their coastal echo chambers.

HRC first visited Wisconsin to sell her book after she lost.

If we are being honest, if the economy doesnt improve, I dont think Democrats need one. Trump failing would be enough for at least his supporters who were on the fence to stay home this time around, and I honestly believe there is some 3rd party regret that will vote for Dems in 2020 because they wouldnt want to give Trump a second term.

But to be clear, Democrats have been arguing for an infrastructure plan for years. That alone would create a couple of hundred thousand jobs for a 2 year period. These jobs wouldnt be permanent, but they would be real tangible jobs and not promised future jobs like with the Trump administration.

There are 200 million people on the Coast. By your own logic, it is more accurate to say Republicans dont level the inland states.

GOP owns Southeastern , mainly bible Belt, Coast.

Dems own the small Acela Belt.

Acela Belt plus West Coast - 270 is a negative number,, as DNC discovered.

My problem with this argument is that Trump ran on trade deals in Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.

Not a single congressional Democrat voted for that trade deal in those states, but a majority of the republicans from those states did.

How he won those states on that message is weird in and of itself to discuss. So it may not be the messenger that matters all that much.

Clinton (Bill) passed NAFTA. From then on, Democrats own it.

Votes were not there for an override, then, had he vetoed it.

He was proud of it.

Rust belt told his spouse what they felt about it.

1. Bill Clinton didnt pass NAFTA, its a trade deal, not a treaty. Even if you want to frame it in that context, it was George H W Bush who passed it.

2. Again, The Republicans in those states supported it, and still do, where as those Democrats never did.

Why is it you support keeping those same Republicans in power ?

Acela Belt coast = DNC

South of Va coast = RNC

Acela Belt is not 200 million. Even adding in West Coast.

BC signed it. He owns it. A veto and it fails.

It passed during BC's tenure.
