Do Trump supporters really think this country would re-elect Trump if he gets us into a war?

If he endorses single payer health care, and signs it, he would get re-elected.

Assuming he hasn't been convicted of anything in the mean time.

It might be a good idea to figure out 2016 before all this speculation about 2020. Just a thought.
Correct. Seacove thought Clinton would win BIGLY.

Now that would be a surprise. The first patient would be Paul Ryan. It won't happen but it would be a shocking turn.

H's Wartime popularity bump is the reason Bill Clinton got the nomination. H was past 80%, and folks like Mario Cuomo got scared and ran home, instead of running.

Historically a POTUS sees a wartime bump in popularity. Vietnam was the exception. But before then, FDR was not as popular pre WWII as once WWII began.

First POTUS in decades to recognize Religious folks have rights, too, that should not be infringed upon by special interest groups who abhor religion.

Actually I'm an anti-trumper, trump if he runs on the issues he ran in 2016 has no chance because most americans outside of the extreme right would have recognized what a con-man he has been. However if a black-swan event like North Korea attacking occurs and he is successful in defeating them, admittedly this is speculation: then he would have a shot at a substantial lead. Actually Current Trumpers would probably oppose the above course of events because in the above scenario the resulting Trump presidency would bear such little resemblance to what trump campaigned on in 2016 than the post-9/11 bush administration resembled the pre-9/11 bush administration.

H lost so not sure what the point is. Republicans and Democrats ran against the Iraq War decision. Trump completely ran against the Iraq War decision. Hey, if Republicans think going to war is a winning political strategy, please proceed.
