We've ignored the KKK for 150 years now. They aren't going away. They're recruiting. That's what the marches are all about.
Enough already.
They're not going away, not matter what you do, so better to not give them any fuel for their fire. It's their constitutional right to exist and to be heard. Their voice is only heard though if protesters show up to amplify it for them.
Who says they'll just go away? I've never heard anyone say that. The idea that if you send in the one group worse than Nazis, Communists, to start street battles with them, that that will somehow make them go away is even sillier. Ignore them. They have no power. They don't matter.
IF you as a country are going to insist on free speech.......you better be wiling to hear stuff that you don't agree with.
I fervently disagree with the neo Nazi/KKK movements but I wholeheartedly believe this as well. Free speech is extremely important, more now than ever since it seems so many seem to feel that if you don't conform to their idea of patriotism that you should be denied inclusion in society. So long as the demonstration is peaceful people have a right to espouse their beliefs, no matter how distasteful they are. Freedom of speech is not the freedom to be heard. But denying fringe groups of any end of the political spectrum the right to peacefully demonstrate is both unconstitutional and the beginning of a slippery slope that leads to the repression of any form of dissent.

Are you against the 1st amendment? Should it only protect speech you approve of?
There are only an estimated 5k of them nation wide. They are inconsequential. The more publicity you give them, the better they're able to recruit. Just ignore them. They don't matter and haven't mattered in 50 years, unless you help them matter.
No thanks. I won't ignore people who wish to see me eliminated. You have the luxury and privilege to ignore them so feel free to continue doing so. I don't so I won't.

We need to stand up and expose these people for what they are. Ignoring them would be the worst possible course of action.
