What are the numbers for donations to leftist politicians?

Like, from George Soros and groups he funds? Politicians are funded from a host of wealthy people and corporations and financial groups for a host of reasons. The NRA is no different, except that you hate the right they support. Your agenda is obvious and will convince no one.

Your objection to the information speaks to your agenda.

You think concern over where money is spent to lobby politicians is okay when it supports your agenda.

1) This thread is about the NRA...if you wish one with Sorus..start one?

2) I'm a gun owner and a supporter of the 2nd amendment--and I despise the NRA. BTW, other than here..I'm not a 'Leftist'..but here, Independent and Centrist, are not recognized by most.

3) The NRA is different--both in scope, and in impact.

4) If you read the article, you will see a number of things jump out at you..such as the number of people who claim membership in the NRA..are far higher than the NRA states it has on its rolls; many people feel that they have to 'claim' to be members..a sort of cultural litmus test, I guess.

The heads of the NRA and the top lobbyists make millions a year--to shill for the gun companies..not to defend our 2nd Amendment rights..which despite the fear mongering, are not in danger.

I would suggest watching that 'knee-jerk', and reading the entire article...before a response?

All I said was it happens all over the place, singling out the NRA because you despise it is dishonest. Discontinue ALL lobbying and donations (bribes) to stop the influence of big money in politics. Or, cope with the fact that people organize and donate/lobby/bribe. That is the way of things.
