in short you are wrong, you premise is just nonsense. Russia has gone to great extremes to subvert elections in the west. the same is NOT true of the west. Brits, french portuguese are not expending large amounts of time and money to swing russia's elections.

Can't really say what Uganda might have been up to, but the U.S. has overtly interfered in the elections of other nations at least 81 times between 1946 and 2000.
That total does not include the tawdry efforts by the Obama State Department to influence the 2015 Israeli parliamentary elections, using American taxpayer dollars to do so.
If the U.S. won't avoid meddling in the electoral politics of other nations, we can hardly have any reasonable expectation that other nations will refrain from meddling in ours.
My guess is that the alts have based their MO on Orwell's Ministry of Truth. Thus we need to refute it if truth is to survive the dishonesty of the extremist right wing.
The US does meddle, as does Russia, but nothing even vaguely approaching all nations as the poster was falsely claiming.
The US interfered in the elections of Israel, France & Russia most recently. The phone calls of our ambassador & asst SOS deciding who the new leader of Ukraine would be ("F*ck the E.U.!") certainly makes it appear we interfered in Ukraine's elections. We were caught red handed a couple years back hacking German chancellor Angela Merkyl's cell phone. The FBI said at least Germany, China, South Korea, Saudi Arabia & Russia interfered in the 2016 election. The FBI also said Russia interfered in the 2008 & 2012 elections (for Obama presumably). Russia has interfered in virtually every election we've had since the Cold War. The only thing unique about 2016 is that the 1% elites lost, so they've crafted the Russian narrative & their followers aren't educated enough to understand the context.
And some still insist Russia didn't interfere with our election.
