I would laugh but 2016 brought us a narcissistic game show host versus a criminal harpy.

The Rock does appear to be flirting with politics but assuming he does go for it, how do we know he will run as a E? He did state he was an independent, but nothing I recall that makes me think he is more conservative leaning. He is from Hollywood, chances are he is more liberal, stereotype I know but the liberal to conservative ratio in Hollywood is high.

I believe Opera has loudly stated she is NOT considering politics.

Oprah wouldn't win. And, unlike Obama, I doubt she'd even increase black turnout among the margins needed to take back states like WI, FL, OH, MI, etc. Why do I say this? Who has Oprah appealed to the most over the years? White, middle class women, not African American women/African Americans in general. And if Hillary's historic candidacy couldn't get that demographic to make a difference for her, Oprah certainly won't be able to either.

You've obviously never paid attention to the things Oprah actually said. She's exactly the opposite of a victimhood mentality. Why do you have your panties in a bunch over a talk show mogul? Why does it bother you? And tell me--are all the male celebrities adored by men also master manipulators who've hypnotized the male population?

If only that were true.

There is no way Hillary will run again and even if she did, she would NEVER get the Democratic nomination. Losing to tRump is beyond any redemption. I actually like Hillary and would not vote for her.

Speaking from the right, I don't want to see her run...she will button up the female vote in a way that Hillary never had a prayer of accomplishing. IMO she would be a formidable candidate.
I certainly hope we don't have to sink to the level of the Republicans by electing a television star that knows NOTHING about governing.

I agree there. Though I tired of her show before it ended - this is a woman who came from NOTHING and made herself a fantastic life.

How can anyone not admire that?

You'd think that people would have learned by now that it's not a good idea to have some totally inexperienced person in the highest office in the land.
