Joe Scarborough and Mika Bryzinski Scarborough have taken a sanctimonious position of being shocked, stunned, and deeply saddened by Bill Clinton's behavior in the 90s along with the recent allegations against Harvey Weinstein. On Morning Joe, Joe and Mika kept blaming the women in Hollywood and saying "How could they not have known" and "Why didn't they speak up?"
But both Joe and Mika had been friends with Donald Trump for a decade. They bragged about knowing Trump. So Joe and Mika knew about all the women Donald Trump abused. They also stuck with Trump knowing he'd been sued for racial discrimination regarding his apartment buildings. Joe and Mika stood by him. And after the Access Hollywood 'grab 'em by the -----' tape came out, Joe and Mika stood by Trump and even partied with him at Mar-a-Lago AFTER the tape came out.
Going even further, Mika has been in the news industry for a long time. Joe has too. So one could say that they knew of at least the rumors about Roger Ailes' many settlements for sexual harrassment. They knew about the court transcripts that revealed that Bill O'Reilly threw his wife down the stairs and that his children hate him. Yet Joe and Mika stayed silent for years.
So how can people in the media like Joe and Mika get on a high horse and bash Hollywood for "staying silent" when all these reporters were silent on Donald Trump, Roger Ailes, and Bill O'Reilly? In fact, Joe still quotes O'Reilly regularly even though O'Reilly was fired for cause because of all of his sexual harassment cases. These "journalists" should look in the mirror and clean up their own industry first before they try to lecture others.

It's a very fair question and right wing blogs are all fanning themselves about Weinstein while being completely silent about Trump, Ailes, etc. Don't forget the evangelicals support Trump. For them to be scandalized by Weinstein is a complete joke.
