The whole point of this thread was the OP being on the Democratic bandwagon specifically claiming the conceal carry law passed last year led to this death.
The perp was not able to conceal carry under that law.
He did it because he's....drum roll...a criminal (I will make that leap in judgement from the fact he killed a man in cold blood).
Mentally masturbate all you want Leftists. Your team tried saying a new law was directly responsible for legally putting a gun in the possession of this scumbag. It was not and even your leaders had to apologize per ugga's link.
Again, I'll add another "Jesus Christ" in exasperation.
Who cares how he got the gun? He wasn't legally allowed to have one but it didn't stop him. Just like the drug laws didn't stop him.
It is legal for a 19 year old to own one in Texas, but it is against school rules to bring one on campus unless you are 21.
Was he "carrying concealed", if he was in his room and then the police took him out?
No need to get upset. I was only trying to get to the bottom of it. Personally I support the 2nd amendment, although I am not sure it is wise to allow guns on campuses which are known for wild parties with lots of booze and drugs. Young people with booze, drugs and guns don't mix too well, just from accident point of view.

He was not carrying a gun, he got ahold of one of the cops guns.
Get the facts next time, it will save you some embarrassment.
I read that he shot the officer and fled with his body cam, but the officer's own gun was still in his holster. That means he had his own gun probably.
Right, if an underage kid got drunk and crashed the car. It completely nullifies the danger of drinking and driving because the kid wasn't supposed to be driving in the first place.
Right-wing logic.
.
Intelligent people don't need nanny state laws to know it's dangerous to drink and drive or do drugs.
