After Sandy we were without power for eight days. Crews from many other states came in to help repair our power lines. The comments we heard were that it was a mess - basically held together with chewing gum and duct tape. Was that our fault? Should we abandon American citizens because they haven't been able to afford to update their power grid?
Puerto Rican CEO stated it is full of corruption and the money does not go to the power grid.. why throw good money after bad. They have to drain their swamp of the corruption over there too.

Now this CEO is getting death threats for uncovering the corruption that is going on.

The problem with Puerto Rico is that they had major problems with their infrastructure before the storm. It is not FEMA's job to fix problems that were not caused by the storm. FEMA needs to stay as long as is necessary to get Puerto Rico back on their feet, and then it is the people and government of Puerto Rico's job to take it from there.

I swear you people would find a problem with anything. Saying they will not stay forever is completely benign and reasonable.
Exactly. It's not FEMA's job to completely rebuild an infrastructure like an entirely new power grid.

PR needs to clear their own roads.
PR needs to restore their own power. Only they know how their cobbled together grid works.
PR needs ensure meds are available.
PR should have activated thei National Guard prior to the hurricane hitting. They didn’t. The mayor of SAN Juan only knows how to hug. She is obviously useless in all other respects.

PR has their hand out perpetually for handouts as hey are corrupt.

FRMA did it’s job. PR needs to help itself now.

The FEMA spokesperson tweeted that they will stay in PR as long as it takes. Thus administration is a complete $ hit show.

No, we got tired of seeing our government run by corrupt political elites who care more about their career and the next election than helping the American people. Trump is our one chance at seeing real change by having a leader who can't be bought out for favors or money with lobbyists. None of that pay to play crap that emanated from the Clintons.

It will be a sad day for America if the Trump haters try their darndest to destroy his tax plan. Here is a real opportunity to help every working American and they rather have more of the same kicking the can down the road as long as our president looks good and gives flowery speeches. The road is about to run out.

Why don't you call and tell them that since they openly contradicted him.
