Why would Trump pull out FEMA now? Half the island doesn't have safe drinking water and most don't have electricity yet.
Plus, there's all the paperwork yet to be done.
FEMA does not do repairs. When you wreck your car the insurance company does not stick around to watch your car get repaired. They leave after evaluating the damage and authorizing a check for the repairs.
FEMA is not a reconstruction effort. They come in after a disaster to help stabilize and get relief efforts under way.
After that they leave the rest to the local officials.

All the Christians love him and treat him as almost a messiah, but that's mostly because he promised them a white heterosexual Christian male dominated society. Trump has been the final straw that has pushed me to atheism.

Don't think this has anything to do with racism. The mayor of San Juan criticized him and Trump always attempts to crush anyone who questions his greatness. If it takes denying Puerto Ricans full restoration of their infrastructure the President will go forward with mass punishment to salve his bruised ego.

PR couldn't even balance their budgets and spent their time issuing municipal bonds to cover budget shortfalls which landed them where they are today....too deep in debt to even pay interest on all those bonds they issued.
Over 30% of the workforce in PR were government workers.
