If the US military can airlift water, food and supplies into remote areas on the globe for war efforts and combat, then surely they can help with getting water food and medical supplies into remote areas of PR. Maybe Trump doesn’t know because he failed his physical and didn’t get drafted into the service,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, nor did he volunteer to serve his country when so many other young men his age had to go.

the Electric power is run by the government of P.R......the power grid should have been replaced 40 years ago because it's cr@p and they charge high rates to the people of P.R. and steal the revenues. The power service should have been PRIVATIZED decades ago to get it out of the dirty hands of the corrupt politicians and their friends in the government of P.R.

The only positive is Puerto Ricans moving to the mainland and finally being able to vote in elections instead of just primaries.

they complain that they can't vote for President and don't have representation in Congress when a crisis like this happens but when everything is normal they reject statehood.
I lived in Puerto Rico....it's frustrating understanding them.......like they want the benefits of a state when they need it but when things are normal they want to act like a separate country and don't want the Federal Government telling them what to do but keep those federal funds coming, they don't mind that.
During last summer when everything was normal, they had a referendum in Puerto Rico to choose between Statehood or Independence so they can present it to Congress to start the ball rolling......guess what % of the registered voters showed up to vote?.....23%......the other 77% didn't give a damn.
now when the hurricane hits them and they need all the federal aid we can give them they start talking trash about the U.S. and how bad we mistreat them because they are "brown" people......it's really frustrating especially dealing with the anti-American socialists in P.R like the Mayor of San Juan, Carmen Yulin, who was part of the movement to get the U.S. Navy out of P.R. 15 years ago but now complains in public that our military isn't doing enough....totally hypocrisy from this lady.....this is the same lady that when Fidel Castro died, she wrote a sentimental homage to him and that she was sad that a great leader died.
She might fool some of you but I have lived in P.R. and I know the root of all their problems.....and this has nothing to do with Trump.....this goes back for decades that it's clueless to think that this will get fix in 3 weeks or even 6 months by pouring billions of dollars to a corrupt and inept system of government and political culture in P.R.
