You would be wrong, then. The world's leaders have come to expect Trump will issue a barrage of tweet attacks, and then try to walk them all back before noon most of the days of the week. If the tweets stop during the week, the barrage will come on the weekend.

When he's not going after them, he attacks people in his own party, assorted newscasters, TV channels, celebrities, his staff, the other party, or some poor slob on the street who got caught in the middle of an incident that made the evening news.

That behavior doesn't cause fear. It creates disdain. Trump's threats are hollow. And the world knows that now.

Every other President who proceeded him never engaged in such childishness. They never threatened anything they did not deliver, and as often as not, the delivery came with no notice to others. Like the raid that killed Bin Ladin.

Trump does not have the discipline to pull off a raid like that. He would boast about it long before the raid happened, and everyone knows he would.

I dont' think you have a real grasp on how the rest of the world sees Trump. I know it pains many of you, but Obama was very respected and liked around the world.

For example, I would bet my house that if Obama were to visit Vancouver, people would be excited to see him. If Trump does, there would be protests.

Yes Trumps threats against North Korea really drew their respect.

Trump's boorish and threatening behavior is not winning any respect.

Look at the clip of his speech yesterday in the UN. "What an idiot," could be in the blurb above most of their heads.

Even his own advisors often look as if they can't believe what just came out of his mouth.

Don't forget that Trump won't go any where that he knows there are going to go be protesters. Which would explain why he makes sure that the crowd of pro Trump.
