HINT: Being incapable of leading his Congress controlling party is not a valid excuse.
It's not HIS Congress. Separate branches of government.

It was gonna be so easy! First day! Only HE could fix it! So of course he fails, and does exactly what he criticized his predecessor of doing. He is seriously mentally unstable. Rex was right. And so was Corker. And most of the Republicans on Capitol Hill think he's nuts but are afraid to speak freely. Such is life in the new order. Everyone must obey.

OK, he's incapable of leading the party he heads which also controls Congress.

BTW, you fail to answer WHY if his XO is such a good move it wasn't initiated immediately after he took office? Remember, the time he claimed Obamacare would be repealed and replaced with something far better? For a man whose supporters claimed wasn't a typical politician he certainly seems like one with all his unfulfilled promises.

Major Legislation like the failed "Stimulus Program" that added a Trillion Dollars to our debt annually since 2009? Facts like the 2700 page ACA that was crammed down without a single Republican Vote and the 17,000 pages of "rules" to the ACA written by Secretary of Health and Secretary of Treasury? The same ACA that is imploding because the Democrats and Obama forgot to write funding into the ACA and prices are skyrocketing, while Insurance companies are dropping out? How about the facts like the Democrats refuse to even work on a new Health Care bill? They are only interested in an Insurance Company bailout .... which will never fly with the public.

As for Obama's Executive Orders & Actions ...... he closed out with 644 of them, the last one signed on January 19th 2017. There is an additional 1186 Presidential proclamations not included in this list. It's really cute the way that TeamObama decided to use "executive actions/memos (like with DACA,DAPA) to hide from Executive Orders - also cute the way the Leftist Media reports this stuff to aid in the Hide & Seek.

Executive Actions by Barack Obama

Default Hypocrite-in-chief

Erin Burnett on Trump: 'Hypocrite-in-chief' - CNN Video

Trump on the campaign trail:
Quote:
I want to not use too many executive orders. Executive orders sort of came about more recently. Nobody ever heard of an executive order, then all of a sudden Obama — because he couldn’t get anybody to agree with him — he starts signing them like they’re butter, so I want to do away with executive orders for the most part.
Quite how you sign a piece of paper 'like butter' is anybody's guess.

More from Trump:

Quote:
You have a President that signs executive orders because he can't get anything done.

Right now Obama goes round signing executive orders - he can't get even along with the Democrats.
And he goes around signing all these executive orders - its a basic disaster.

Trump has signed double the executive orders that Obama had at this point.

Someone come and say with a straight face how Trump is not a hypocrite or in Trumps own words - a disaster.

Now this is a thread ending post. Using Trump's own words, no less.

**EOs are just a last resort "because you can't get anybody to agree with you," says Mr. Trump.

**Signing all those EOs are "a basic disaster," says Mr. Trump.

**He "wants to do away with executive orders for the most part," says Mr. Trump.

And he certainly wouldn't use them like President Obama did. Nope. Not him!

Except that the number of EOs signed by Trump has already far outpaced Obama.

Come one, everyone, let's hear you defend Trump from his own words.

So what was President Trump supposed to do? Let Obama's executive orders remain on the books

As @kevinm astutely noted:

Quote:
The only way to cancel an illegal executive order is to sign another repealing it. That is all Trump is doing.
Again, I don't know what is so difficult for leftists to understand about this concept.

No, he was supposed to do it through legislation passed by Congress. But since he "couldn't get anyone to agree with him" he resorted to doing exactly what he berated President Obama for doing. Because if the only way to do it was through EOs he would have done that FIRST, right away, not 10 months later because he couldn't get it done through the legislature. You know, like he claimed he would.
