Ol' Kappy just wants to extend his 15 minutes. He knows this case is nearly impossible to prove. Just think if he had not choked in the Superbowl he could have had a hall of fame career path and gone on to do some real social changing activism after his career. Now he just looks like a bitter fool who disrespected the country, angered millions of people and will be forever known as a fool.

He was a struggling NFL QB that was most likely not going to make it so his whole knee thing was done on purpose to try and create some sort of leverage or attention for himself. He wanted to get some sort of a Tebow following or something.

Does he have a case? I don't think so. Seems the new word the left
likes to use now is collusion when they do not get their way.

Colin Kaepernick files grievance against NFL owners for collusion
Colin is looking under the wrong page in the dictionary under the letter "C". The word he's looking for is: "consequences", not "collusion".

I am starting to suspect he is not the brightest guy in the room.

I thought the Kansas City Chiefs offered to sign him up?

  • That based on the above, all 32 owners and their front offices have colluded to keep him out of the NFL on that basis.
Since he cannot possibly prove either of those things objectively, here's why the NFL needs to fight this, and fight it hard - dangerous precedent.

If they cave to Kaepernick and sign him out of fear of the fight, they have now opened Pandora's Box, because now every cut, suspension, fine or just plain old failed to make the active roster "is because racism/discrimination/social injustice/etc, and I demand that my right to be a millionaire for playing a game be upheld."

If he ends up in an NFL uniform because the NFL was a bunch of sissies and cave to his absurd, sophomoric threat, they sign their own death warrant.
Football, like all other highly publicized sports, got that way because there is also huge money at stake, especially behind closed doors at the casinos and sports bars across the nation where a lot of money is wagered. We all know that a good chunk of these casinos are run by mafia, so I definitely foresee, if Kaepernick becomes anymore of a threat to their bottom line, especially in the betting tables by forcing the league via a lawsuit to let him play, I won't be surprised to turn on the news and find out he was tragically killed in a car crash, or in a robbery.

He still had a year on his contract.... Traded, or bought. He quit and broke the contract he signed.
