A bunch of hope & change BS. Obama was way overhyped. Trump was elected on hype too, i.e. going to "save" the coal industry. I hope in 2020 we can vote for a normal politician with actual concrete ideas.

Keep hoping.

I doubt either the Yakuza or Bratva will nominate anyone I want.

Why Did Obama Receive the Nobel Peace Prize?

Because "somebody" thought it was the thing to do (nothing to do with deserving it)

God save us, please, from a "normal politician"

I have a lot of issues with Obama... I don't know I guess he tried to do a lot of good things but it just seems like he caused people to get along less, not more.
He always talked smack on everyone. So when Hillary called everyone deplorables people got it in their head that the Democrats were against a large part of the country but imo it started with Obama. Hillary just didn't do anything to make people feel otherwise.

Read that sentence again, slowly this time. Let us know when you spot the problem.

No such thing as a normal politician. Professional politicians should be banned.

- On November 4, 2008, Senator Barack Obama of Illinois was elected president.
- The Nobel Committee announced the award on October 9, 2009 to be awarded to U.S. President Obama

According to Nobel's will, the Peace Prize shall be awarded to the person who in the preceding year "shall have done the most or the best work for fraternity between nations, for the abolition or reduction of standing armies and for the holding and promotion of peace congresses".

Yes, he received the noble peace price. Then systematically began bombing tons of people in syria and libya. He was a peaceful man.
