If he hadn't been assassinated, he was going to dismantle the CIA and pull our advisory troops out of South Vietnam
He would have had to be good at surviving to make that happen and he wasn’t. I personally believe he was neck deep in getting us into that war. Ike warned us, he should have named the threat, Democrats.

Wrong, it was Eisenhower's administration that sent the advisory troops in, and it didn't escalate to combat until LBJ
I'm continually curious about how Lincoln is regarded so highly when he was factually one of the most hated presidents of all time as well as statistically one of the worst.

Which statistics make him among the worst? And as far as his being hated, where and when?
Best:
Washington: a great leader in times of peace and war
Lincoln: a visionary, rags to riches, moral, created Yosemite
T. Roosevelt: preservationist, Trust buster
F Roosevelt: elected 4 times
Eisenhower: interstate highway system, deported a large amount of illegal aliens
Worst:
Reagan: lowered wages and fired air traffic controllers which caused my husband’s employer to do the same
Trump: immoral
Obama: divided our country by race and class and filled his cabinet with Clinton appointees. Btw, I voted fir him because the alternatives were worse
Clinton: crooked, NAFTA
Nixon: crooked

Love the analysis. Not familiar with the Panic of 1837. Was the country on the verge of running out of beer?
