I understand the idea logical argument for repealing Obamacare, but I don’t get repeal and replace. Why would someone want to repeal and replace it instead of simply fixing it?

Because Washington Egos prevent them from doing what is truly best for the people.

There is no logic unless you consider “Obama came up with this thing so I have to kill it” to be logic.

Easy question. Democrats passed it, so it must be destroyed, even though it was the Conservatives' plan to begin with.

No further logic needed.

And absolutely no concern for the millions who will be hurt. That doesn't even register in the thought process.

Because the media, and Democrats have convince a lot of people we "NEED" government to do something, and be involved in the health care insurance business, and health care in general. It is pure stupidity.

We need to repeal business out of healthcare. Cut out all that fat and just have a healthcare system like every other modern country on the planet.

Because Trump wants to erase everything that has Obama's name associated with it.

What is pure stupidy is paying 3 times more for healthcare than other westernised nations, and sticking your fingers in your ears when people try to explain that there are better systems to consider. It's called cutting off your nose to spite your face.

The only way to contain health care insurance costs, and healthcare costs is to allow MARKET forces to work, and that means in the private sector. What government program has contained any costs, or operated efficiently? Government's real purpose is to grow. They have no incentive to contain costs, nor provide good service. Look at the VA.
