Clearly Kelly is not remembering correctly what she was boasting about, but his point stands that she was like an empty barrel boasting about being a star for getting legislation through to name the building after the agents in time for the dedication ceremony. Who knows whether or not she boasted about the funding as well during some other part of the ceremony. She says it was funded before she was elected in other interviews.
Interestingly, she also points out that FBI agents leave home everyday knowing they may not come back.....different version of "they signed up for it".......said with family sitting there. Quite ironic.
It has nothing to do with what I want. It is commonly accepted etiquette to state who is listening to a call that's put on a speaker phone. Do you dispute that?
As for how the Office of the Presidency handles this, I don't know. We don't know if Trump did or did not say who was with him. We don't know if he was on speaker on his side, etc.
I can see times it would be appropriate for him to disclose who is there and times it would just be cumbersome and not matter.
Fact remains, a Congresswoman listening in to a private call from a US President should have made her presence known.

you are being completely hypocritical here. If Wilson was required to disclose who was there and could hear then SO WAS POTUS.
Kelly was trying to smear a congresswoman and the best he could come up with was him not liking her speaking at an event and then LYING about it to make it sound bad. and add to that phone etiquette, and let's be honest here, POTUS did not list who was in the room either.
what we have is a POTUS who lacks any empathy at all and his right hand simply abandoning all pretense of honesty to clean up Trump's mess.

How could he not realize he was defending a man who disrespects women, runs down religions, and doesn't know the meaning of self-sacrifice?
