I bet they waited for Hef to die before doing this. I don't see him approving this spread.

Playboy?

Yeah, like, umm, because it's such an empowering and noble and fabulous honor to grace its pages.

I'm not sure if you mean "cash" or "cachet", but in either case--no. Print journalism has been on the decline since the turn of the century.

If Playboy weren't already dead, it would be now.

Not too much interest in photos.... You can go on the internet and watch it if you are into that kind of thing...

I stopped reading Playboy years ago when Christie took it over and turned it into Cosmopolitan.

The only issue with that would be tact.

Way back in the late 70s/80s when I was a teenager, Playboy and late night movie channels were about it for good looking "nekkid" girls. When I got older, they really did have some really good articles you couldn't find anywhere else.

Now, porn, (hard core stuff not just nude girls) is a click away on the internet, and it's easy to find soft porn in advertising, family hour on regular TV, it just isn't that big a deal anymore.

If Playboy is desperate enough to try trans to get attention, that's pretty bad. If they want to appeal to the gay market, there's other mags already ahead of them. They should have phased out the nudes and kept their reporters. We really need some good reporters these days, and even though I haven't bought a Playboy in years, this is their death rattle, and if they've sunk this low, even the nostalgia wouldn't be enough for me to ever purchase one of their magazines ever again.

Not true. Heff was fine with transgender people back in the 80's.
