For those who stopped watching NFL because of the kneeling situation, not because you got bored of it, or you got busy, etc.
When will you go back to the NFL? What would need to happen?
I am seeing some really significant number of people walking away from the NFL, traditional fans. I am wondering though if this is permanent or just a temporary thing. What else is a middle aged, bald, overweight, drunk suppose to do during Sunday? church? work? workout? spend time with kids!!!!??? crazy
I don't ordinarily watch football. I used to watch post season football, but I won't be doing that until this kneeling nonsense is done away with. I will be far better off using my time for something more constructive. Sports is a past time, and nothing more.
When they stop kneeling, stop politicizing, apologize, and add automatic individual penalties for doing any of the above that are extremely harsh to avoid recurrences of the aforementioned.
Until then, watching the fine athletes of the NHL works just fine. Plus the World Series features two outstanding teams full of athletes who respect our flag and wonderful nation.

Where do you live? I live near Seattle, which is close to Canada. Hockey is sort of picking up. Not sure if it is the proximity to Canada or something else. I think if someone is leaving the NFL for good, the NHL is the most logical step. Rugby would be more similar game play but that just isn't getting a hold in America. Hockey is growing and so is soccer, at least in my circle. I think even without the whole kneeling issue, there was a possibility that the NFL popularity would have dropped and NHL and MLS taking some more market share.
my grands play pop warner- besides wearing PINK socks and sleeves- they also get involved in community talk etc- as they are kids from different schools etc etc... and some have also been kneeling, and know why--- 9 yrs old, mind you, the cheerleader she's 13-- and same for her team they going to regionals beat everyone this year -- I mention that because they will meet more teams from different cities, AND KNEEL
Choices in the poll seem to fit the perspective of the extreme right assuming all have left the NFL. True to the right's nature, there is typically only one side to everything as differing opinion is ignored and not wanted.
I have never left the NFL. I watched in the past and continue to do so. That however was not an option so I did not vote. Looking forward to the Super Bowl rematch tonight.
I enjoy watching the home team New England Patriots and no amount of kneeling will stop me.
I do think the kneeling is misguided and taking attention away from the game but to outright boycott the NFL because of it is ridiculous.
What bothers me about watching the games is the amount of commercials. The Patriots with Tom Brady and Coach Belechick have always been exciting and very entertaining to watch right up to the final seconds of the game but some of the other teams I have watched this year have been a bit dull.
