Click bait silliness - but fun anyway.

From the Washington Times:

A crusading lawyer filed a bar grievance this week accusing former FBI Director James Comey of lying to Congress and destroying potential evidence in the Clinton email scandal, in a process that could end up costing him his law license.

Ty Clevenger filed the grievance in New York, where Mr. Comey was a former U.S. attorney and is licensed to practice law.

Mr. Clevenger said Mr. Comey’s testimony to Congress that he did not predetermine the outcome of the FBI’s probe into former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is belied by revelations this week that he in fact started drafting an exoneration months before even speaking with Mrs. Clinton.

A single bozo filing a grievance by no possible definition means a "push" is on.

And by the way, that bozo has been personally subject to public reprimand as an attorney.

Quote:
On Aug. 18, 2014, Ty Odell Clevenger
[#24034380], 45, of Lavon,
agreed to a public reprimand. The
380th District Court of Collin County
found that Clevenger committed professional
misconduct by violating Rule
3.02 [In the course of litigation, a
lawyer shall not take a position that
unreasonably increases the costs or
other burdens of the case or that unreasonably
delays resolution of the matter].
Clevenger was ordered to pay
$1,100 in attorneys’ fees and direct
expenses.

I do not know about the rules of the New York state bar, but, generally, the proper party to file a grievance against an attorney is a client. Sometimes the Bar itself will do so, if the attorney commits some outrageous, public act.

Checking out the blog of the lawyer behind this petition is pretty revealing. He’s as right wing as they come.

This is a stupid article designed as click bait for stupid conservatives who still have a beef with Comey and Hillary.

It ain’t happening.

I hope you realize that when you post something like this, directing yet more people to this sub-par "news" source, you're just encouraging it and adding to the problem.
