Sounds like you are a globalist that uses cheap offshore labor and businesses whenever possible to cut your costs, right? Cutting your business costs is common sense.

That is the problem with the bleeding heart mentality. They try to do good by paying a unsustainable wage to their employees but in the end the employees all lose their jobs. Better to pay the prevailing wage for that sort of job instead of trying to social engineer something else.

It failed because of bad business plans... expenses more than revenue... and if you don't know what the biggest expenses are in business, then your head can remain in the sand...

So if we deported all the illegals and wages rose as predicted after the labor market tightened, what would that mean for all these small businesses?
They would all have to raise prices to afford to pay the prevailing wage and stay in business at the same time.
But then the consumer wouldn’t have a lower cost option. He would just be paying more for pizza wherever he chose to go. I can’t speak for anyone else, but I would gladly pay a little more to an American citizen than an illegal.
