Controlling the purse shouldn't mean taking healthcare away from others. Again, real people with real concerns. Working hard - but job doesn't offer insurance.
What shall we do with these young people?
Go bankrupt if they break a foot?
What costs less...?
Paying to get the broken foot set, or paying thousands in premiums and thousands more in deductibles?
Before you answer remember that medical providers often charge those with no insurance less and that Obamacare's effect on premiums and deductibles made many people's policies, including mine.... practically useless.
If you can't afford a $7500.00 (or more) deductible EVERY YEAR.... what good is the insurance?
Democrats love to ignore the fact that many of the "millions" of people who got coverage under the ACA were young, healthy people who may not have even wanted insurance but were forced to buy massively expensive policies that they cannot afford to actually USE.
Now, you can certainly argue that going without insurance, even if you're young and healthy is not a good idea....
But that should be their choice, not the governments.

Most people (even in the middle class) don't have the money in savings needed to pay cash for a medical procedure; I know I don't. A doctor's visit is one thing, but surgery or a procedure? Too expensive
Almost all the states that get the biggest subsidies are red states.
Winning!!!!
There ya go.

Yes, will his fans love him now? (Or will they be gritting their teeth while trying to pretend they are still supporting him?) I am thinking those rallies are about to become a thing of the past, as his support is dwindling and he knows it would be embarrassing to have a small turnout.
Judge sides with Trump. Refuses to block order to end Obamacare subsidies.
"MAGA"
Win? If you are a health care corporate executive, I would have to agree. For anyone else out here in the heartland? Not so much. Wait until those pre-existing condition rules get removed, or worked around. If you think this isn't going to affect you and yours, you are a dreamer.

Whether you like it or not, health care is not like other markets. The right solution is single payer, as painful as the transition to that system may be. All of these systems that reside somewhere in between are going to be very ineffective.
Nothing like taking health coverage away from poor people! Maybe he can go punch the poor people in the face too because nothing says "win on the board" like hurting people!
The subsidies were illegal. They were not passed by Congress. Maybe you want to live in a Kingdom, but I don't.
