NBC News reporter Leigh Ann Caldwell broke the story right after the meal, tweeting that she overheard a Secret Service agent discussing Trump's intake: "He ate rice and two pieces of cherry pie. Took a few sips of his drink," Caldwell tweeted. "'He loves rice.'"

With his up coming trip to China it would be a great opportunity for the Chinese leader to impress Trump with a gift of his very own rice bowl and to spice up the gift with some chopsticks.
Hopefully Trump will get to visit the Shaolin Monks and offer some rice from such a bowl. I just hope he doesn't enter the press core in the drunken monkey style competition. They might win and upset the Chinese.
