so true. Remember when the media created a huge scandal over Romney saying "binders of women"? If you go and look back, all of the talking points used abut Trump were actually also used for Romney. It's a reason they didn't work this time

Vice President Joe Biden said Romney wanted to put black people back in chains.

This should show anyone with a brain just how horrible Trump is.

The bold part is a huge reason why Trump won the nomination and presidency. People wanted someone who would fight back against the same old, vile, disgraceful attacks from the left that had become the norm for Dems. Who else would have brought Bill Clinton's sexual assault victims with them to the debate? Would have taken Crooked Hillary to task for trying to silence and shame these women? Would have aggressively taken on the media for their lies? Donald J. Trump said what everyone else was/is thinking and saying privately, but for which, as members of polite society, hypocritically attack him for saying publicly.
The Dems had been saying those things about Republicans for so long that they became meaningless. They'd said it about not only Romney and Bush, but John McCain also. They said it about Dole. They said some of the same things about Reagan.
They would have said the same things about any of the other Repubicans, either. They would have even said it about Kasich. (In that case Trump would have been given sainthood by the media for being the loser...)
I expect hypocrisy from the Left. Not surprised at all. After Trumps eight years, they will lament not having him as President because now Alfred E. Newman is the new Republican President, and Spy vs Spy is mandatory reading.
Laughed hysterically when I learned Romney will be running for senate in Utah. They are so desperate to stop this populist movement that Romney is now a leftist hero.
