What's grotesque is every single player in this has dirty hands...except Trump.
More inevitable than grotesque.
Every Trump-hater on the planet, on both sides of the aisle, has been trying to bash and destroy Trump from day 1.
And they have all quickly found that the only way to make him look bad (not just a little brash or a little bawdy or a little direct, but BAD), was to lie about him. Which they merrily proceeded to do, on every subject imaginable. From Russia Russia Russia to rich rich rich to hair-and-tan to trophy wife to "not like past Presidents", plus all the usual fibs, smears, and insults always hurled at every Republican.
And Trump was ready for them, and calmly proceeded to rub every one of their noses in it. And laugh publicly at the ones who recoiled in feigned "shock" and tried to double down on their tactics.
Trump winds up simply being Trump, which should not be a surprise to the ones screaming in "shock" or outrage about it now. But the screamers, well, they have looked grotesque for months. Trump was merely brash enough to point out exactly what they were doing.
"The opposition research project that ultimately produced the controversial Trump-Russia dossier was initially backed by the conservative Washington Free Beacon website, it was revealed late Friday.
Free Beacon editor-in-chief Matthew Continetti and and chairman Michael Goldfarb said in a statement that the publication had retained Fusion GPS to "provide research on multiple candidates in the [2016] Republican presidential primary," as well as Democratic frontrunner Hillary Clinton"
That is why CNN ran with a story that charges are to be filed by Mueller, today.
Mueller's time has come.
You have that backwards. Trump's posse knew Mueller indictments were coming and brought up the whole uranium thing that has already been analyzed ad nauseum, as a deflection. Seriously, this has been around for years, and it's being looked at now, as Trump desperately wants out from under the heat lamp.
Trump, as a private citizen, sued and bullied in order to attempt to get his way, or if he felt slighted in the least. He is basically a very large spoiled brat control freak. He simply cannot deal with having to stay within the bounds of the government and constitution now. So we get twitter outbursts, lies, deflections, dramatic accusations and any desperate move Trump can get away with to control and manipulate the situation.
Mueller's not going anywhere, and if Trump tries to fire him now, he's writing his own impeachment articles.

When did WaPo and the NYT become "Trump's posse"? Someone has it backwards all right
You think it's coincidence that Trump's entire cabinet has ties to Russia, and that Trump himself has a strange bro'mance with Putin? Really?
Or the fact that Dopey Jr. said in 2008 real estate conference: “In terms of high-end product influx into the US, Russians make up a pretty disproportionate cross-section of a lot of our assets; say in Dubai, and certainly with our project in SoHo and anywhere in New York. We see a lot of money pouring in from Russia. There’s indeed a lot of money coming for new-builds and resale reflecting a trend in the Russian economy and, of course, the weak dollar versus the ruble.”
Or that he took a meeting with Russians who stated they represented the Russian government to damaging information on Clinton.
