You don't actually believe that do you?

Folks, witness the religion of leftism! Miracles! Orthodoxy! The almighty GOD!

True science has existed for somewhere between 100-400 years. Just saying.
Just because someone notices something does not make it science.

Tradition? You actually have the nerve to use that word in the same sentence as science?

BTW, many French rest rooms are unisex. Many hot baths (public, spas, etc.) the world over are unisex AND naked.

So is it premature to say one is black, or white?

There is currently 7.6 billion people on the face of the earth, and who knows how many over the last 400 years.

i'd say the population is large enough in order to determine a consensus that men and women are indeed different.

those articles establish that it is listed presently in the DSM5 as a mental disorder. the criteria for mental disorder is:
A condition is designated as a mental illness when the very fact that you have it causes distress and dysfunction, said Geoffrey Reed, a professor of psychology at the National Autonomous University of Mexico, a consultant on the ICD-11, and co-author of the study told the Washington Post. The study argues that this isn't the case with transgender identity.

I think any distress they feel is from the way they are treated and not from being trans in and of itself.

If you read those links you posted it actually makes the case that trans is NOT a mental illness.
I'm not a conservative (I'm a moderate) but I just don't see how it is not a mental illness. I have a milder form of Bipolar II - so I am classified as mentally ill. Sometimes my reality is skewed because the chemicals in my brain aren't right. People who are delusional and/or psychotic have lost touch with reality. Some folks with serious Bipolar I can think they are actually a famous person from history - say Napoleon. But they aren't. Just because they truly believe they are doesn't change the fact. And the fact is that you are either born with the chromosomes of a male or female. Note that I am not trying to be unkind. As someone with mental issues of my own, I have tremendous with trans folks. As to what is normal or not - that is a societal construct that varies with over time and with culture.
