Seriously doubt that. He was probably hateful of this country to begin with. Practicing Muslims do not assimilate into this country and something about our culture probably pushed him over the edge which made him easy to radicalize.

If that was his intention, why would he have waited SEVEN years to act out? He was radicalized HERE. What sort of vetting predicts that a person without any terrorist connections would be radicalized AFTER moving to the United States? Do you think President Trump has some sort of scientific formula that tells us who will become a radical later in life?

I think properly vetting people is common sense. I don't think that any vetting, extreme or otherwise, is able to see years into the future. And so those who are whining about vetting in this case aren't really talking about vetting at all. It's just more of the we are afraid of Muslims so we shouldn't let them into this country tripe.

Mmm, yes. Except he's been here since 2010 & Uzbekistan isn't on the travel ban. So you, trump & all the other cons are one giant fail. Per usual.

Trump should stop following Faux News. They should stick to Hamburger Emojis and leave the real news to professionals.

Diversity Visas were a part of the 1990 Immigration Act with bipartisan support and signed into law by Bush 1.

Schumer was a member of the bipartisan " Gang of Eight" who created the proposed Immigration Act of 2013 that was never voted on by the House. This proposed legislation Included ending Diversity Visas.

As is usual, some are compelled to politicize every tragedy.

There's one person responsible for this horrorific act of terrorism and it's the driver of the rental truck.

What a stroke of good fortune for Trump, who has rants against "radical Islamic terrorists" and was in desperate need of a distraction

Does anyone else think this sounds mighty suspicious?
I was thinking exactly this last night.

Interesting, isn't it, how so many are willing to believe that Sandy Hook and Las Vegas were "false flags" but no cries from those same quarters about this.

Remember too, that the FB, twitter and google execs testified yesterday about the Russian propaganda efforts leading up to the election.
Pushed that right off the "front pages," didn't it?
