I have a hard time believing some of the stuff going around that Walt was a closet occultist and pedophile. I believe more likely he was a conservative and that all the gay, green, open borders, etc stuff came along with Eisner.
I'm just wondering, at what point did Disney's kingdom go from the Shire to Mordor?
I guess I really started to notice in 2015 when they canned over 100 American workers and made them train their foreign replacements and how they were heavily pushing the Gay Agenda.
Was Walt himself a liberal globalist or would he want his company destroyed if he could see it now?

Oh jeez The actual Walt Disney was an anti-semite, and supported the Third Reich
Breaking News!
Creative and Imaginative people are usually liberal. By a BIG margin. Go visit Silicon Valley or NYC where the new companies are happening. Liberal Liberal Liberal.
If you want Conservative Entertainment, go to the rodeo and local bars.

And, as a movie person I knew once pointed out, Walt obviously liked big butts.
By no stretch of the imagination could Disney have personally been called liberal. But he's dead now, and has been for quite some time. As far as I know, there is no requirement that a corporation live by the political beliefs of its founder(s) for ever and ever, amen.
Disney has gotten where it is today by providing its customers with what they want. If you don't like what they offer - and I don't - get your entertainment elsewhere. There's lots to choose from.

Disney did not support the Third Reich. Right winger yes, country-club racist yes (like a lot of people in his time, especially where he came from in the small town Midwest), Nazi or fascist no.
The only belief Disney had that was somewhat stereotypically "left-wing" was that he was at the very least agnostic and possibly atheist, but, as we know now, there are plenty of agnostics and atheists on the right, and there were some in Disney's time. (H.L. Mencken, Leo Strauss, Ayn Rand....)
Disney, like Henry Ford and a lot of other conservative Americans, had some sympathy for the aims of the Nazis in their early years. The Nazis were an active political party beginning in 1921. But certainly by the time Germans started invading their neighbors, that sympathy had died. He helped make plenty of propaganda films for the US during WWII.
And it was also common then for Americans, both conservative and liberal, to be suspicious of Jews and Catholics. While I hardly condone those suspicions, Disney was not out of the mainstream, and I wouldn't consider him to be in the same league as genuine Nazis.

Old Disney movies are very conservative, newer ones have been otherwise since way before 2015. Gay Days have happened at Disney parks since the 90s.
Don't conflate liberalism with globalism. They are separate issues.

Very true. A genuine libertarian is a globalist. A person who believes in minimal government and unfettered free markets can hardly be otherwise. Most liberals believe that government should have a regulatory role in moderating or preventing the failures/excesses of free markets. This may include some protectionism, which is not globalism.
