He seems miserable being President. That's bad for his health too. He always acted and looked much happier in prior years before we was running for office. He used to smile and be upbeat at times. Now he's always whining and arguing and trying to hide and he's always upset. Miserable is too light of a word to describe him.
Well of course.. he certainly has always whined and argued, but since he has more exposure being on the world stage, he is seen for who he is and is under attack more so than before. Remember, some months ago he said he "thought the job would be easier than his OLD job". That alone says he was highly unaware of what he was doing.
Many people with fat free diets don't even live as long as Trump, let alone have the energy to run for office. He ran the most energetic and hectic campaign ever, and he'll do the same in 2020.
I don't know about that, but certainly much more so than Hillary .
And he was forced to go emergency heart surgery a few years later and has been meticulous about keeping his weight down ever since. Bill Clinton also was and is a lot more laid-back than Trump seems to be.
His ability to pull that off is probably directly proportional to how much time he spends away from Hillary .
It's a good thing tRump isn't juvenile enough to comment on physical appearances or to use middle school level put-downs as he sits in the Oval Office with his tweet phone.
Yes, as he had begun doing since campaigning and setting the tone for many in America to do the same. It's funny how he habitually makes fun of others, while the wife is speaking out on eliminating bullying.
Few men ever want to be President. The job seems to call to those who enjoy and thrive in a very high-stress position.
In ways, Presidents remind me of professional sports players; most are at their best when the heat is on and time is short. And when those days come to an end, all the energy goes out of their lives.
Eisenhower had a severely bad heart during both his terms, Kennedy had a terminal progressive disease that kept him in constant pain, Johnson's heart was bad, Nixon had blood clot problems, but they all wanted all the presidency they could get.
The Presidents like Reagan, the Bushes, Obama, Carter- the guys who enjoy being physically active and fit- all seem to age more in office than those who are in bad physical shape. The job is sedentary in it's nature. A cripple can do it, and we have had some of them.
I think Trump's health might not be the best, but he's physically active.
I am pretty sure he won't keel over while in office, but like many in the list above, he might not last long once he's out of office.
One thing is for sure; if Trump's heart does betray him, his odds of survival are pretty darned good. He has the best of our medical care at his disposal at all times, even if he's out of the country. The most serious thing that would weigh against his survival is his age, and he's no worse at 71 than millions of other men are.
Even semi-fit men are living longer now, and Trump has no other life-threatining vices other than his diet.
Re the bolded..... An extremely good point that had never occurred to me.
He is morbidly obese and sedentary. That is a life-threatening condition.
That describes most people his age. I'm no doctor, and I'm no Trump supporter, and I don't know how long he will live.
Of course he could die at any time. He's at the age when that happens a lot. But I'm not at all sure his chances of dying are greater just because of his lifestyle.
And lifestyle doesn't seem to affect a President's health all that much; they are all healthier than the rest of us most of the time.
Yeah. Trump is fat, and looks like crap with his bad skin and all, but I'm not expecting him to have a health crash.
