I think this is a case of blaming the messenger for the bad news. People outright hate Trump for telling the truth about DC. it is a swamp of back door dealing and shenanigans of bending the law for profit.

We are all supposed to be outraged over things that Trump has said but give a pass to certain politicians when they actually did those things.?

Trump is under a barrage of attacks because people fear him and they don't know how to react to him.

Or; the alternative suggested by more and more evidence to the contrary:

Trump is under a barrage due to his own party not performing in a due diligence manner to forestall the addition to the swamp of just one more layer of corruption and unbridled nepotism.

Most react to Trump in the same fashion........a widening of the eyes, a drop of the jaw and an amazed WTF wazzat??

I think deep down, everyone knew this was gonna be the case. Funny enough, if the Title switched Trump for Clinton, it still wouldn't be a shocker.

drum roll....

nobody cares.

Everyone who voted for him figured this more or less, but once again you fail to recognize why Trump is in office. And there's a fairly good chance he gets another 4 years. He is serving his purpose and his base is fairly satisfied
