Either scrap the anthem

OR

Everyone must stand for the anthem.

That eliminates the problem.
Well say that instead of being condescending towards a poster because you can't debate properly.

And you are incorrect, Papa Johns is the only one suffering. Pizza hut has reported sales being unaffected, maybe Papa John needs to revamp his business instead of getting involved in politics once again. Stopped eating his pizza when he said he was going to cut his employees pay over Obamacare.

The company is losing market share because people are boycotting NFL advertisers, or something.

Blame Roger Godell, that's who I blame. The NFL is a business, all this protesting crap shouldn't be happening to begin with. Those guys wanna protest, find another venue. The UPS guy delving your packages isn't protesting or making political statements, he's on the company dime. The same should apply to those guys, they are on the company dime, protest on your time.

The NFL is a business but people bet on the NFL never losing viewers. NFL has been in decline for the last 4 or 5 years. People are cutting the chord, younger folks don't watch as much, etc..

NFL ratings are still HUGE but you can only grow so much and these Thursday night games aren't helping.

The bottom line for the NFL is is that Papa Johns was one of their biggest customers, they lost them as a business for whatever reason, in this case they are saying that it's because of less viewership, in Papa's John's eyes. Right wrong or whatever, the NFL is losing that revenue stream from them.

IF they keep losing revenue because of this situation I have a real feeling that the NFL will implement some kind of "no political statements or protests" rule in regards to all of this at some point.

This is a business after all, these owners and the league doesn't do this out of the goodness of their hearts.

I know that if I were running things and my bottom line dropped in direct response to any given activity, that activity would get rectified, like yesterday.

About a year ago, there were no Papa Johns in my area, now there are 4.

A group of people from work decided to order from them one day so I joined in. I think everyone took one bite of the Pizza and decided we would rather pay the extra 3 dollars a pizza for Pizza Hut or drive an extra 2 miles and pick up Little Caesar's.

Out of all the national Pizza Chain's I have tried, i would only rank them above Cici's. IU have no idea how they have continued to grow.

Well, isn't this interesting.

Again, self-reflection might be in order for the Papa.

Just a side note for anyone who truly enjoys pizza they wouldn't be eating at any of those dogcrap pizza chains, they all suck. Find a good mom and pop type place in your city and give them your business instead. The pizaa is usually always much better too.

Yeah I know, you might not be able to order with an app but they still have phones at their business.

This is exactly what I've been doing over the past 20 + years now with pretty much everything.
