Although I think MJ should remain (mostly) illegal, if the people voted for it then it's hard to defend a veto, unless the law would inhibit some minority right. But I don't see that here.

Potheads have no respect for anyone who doesn't indulge in their degenerate habit. Trump got elected by 19.5% of the U. S. population. If the same percentage voted to approve that bill in Maine, how does that make it the will of the people?
Here is another politician who is going to follow his agenda instead of what the people want. This arrogance should be addressed at the ballot box. Kick him out of office. You’ve got to remember he is supposed to work for YOU. Let these people know who’s boss....
