But we all know that anyway. It's just the left-wing that can't deal with the facts - being there are WAY more guns in America today and yet gun murder/crime is WAY down.

Those are the facts sir.
I don't know what you're smoking, but pretty much every survey has indicated gun ownership rates have gone down. I cited three right here.

Gun ownership in America is declining. This is the unavoidable conclusion from comprehensive, national data spanning more than 40 years contained in the General Social Survey (GSS) conducted by the National Opinion Research Center (NORC) at the University of Chicago.

The UK has a huge problem with stabbings. You can't even buy a knife until you are 18. Did not stop the stabbings.

Sure, every country has problems. But only THIS country has routine mass shootings like this. And there is only one reason for that.

It would have to not allow discretion. No different than many 3 strikes sentencing provisions.

We can buy Kleenex for the thug's family.

ISIS likes machetes and advocates van mass killings.

Guess machetes, vans, trucks, should all be banned.

Yeah, I heard about that guy who stabbed 50 people who were attending a concert in less than 10 minutes. Oh, and that other guy that stabbed 20 six-year-olds. And then there was that guy who stabbed 26 people in a church.

You're so right, it's exactly the same thing.

So then they must be going down in Chicago too then, right?

Is it all the honest good citizens in Chicago that are shooting eachother at a catastrophic rate?

Yep, it's VERY easy to kill 58 people on the Las Vegas strip with a machete.
