Healthcare in Europe is provided through a wide range of different systems run at the national level. The systems are primarily publicly funded through taxation (universal health care).

And it works quite well.

Like I said, I don't know. I would like to read about it. People study such things. Then they write about their findings. Experts.

What would make a system for California different than a European country that would be so such a departure from comparing the US to a European country in terms of universal healthcare?

It's exciting learning about new things.
