Not talking about new laws, just stricter enforcement of current gun laws.

Without a doubt.

People who commit crimes with guns should be severely dealt with.

The problem is that politicians and courts have decided to go easy on them.

Yes, I have zero problem uphold the current laws even though in same states I believe they are in violation of the 2nd A.

I support the 2nd Amendment right of the people to own a gun but I am not a gun advocate so I do not know where that places me.

I will say, I support the idea of enforcing current laws before enacting new laws that likely won't get enforced either.

Why not up the amount of prosecutions for those who lie on the background check. Currently they prosecute less than 4%.

The correct number is less than 0.2%.

Absolutely! I have not met any gun owner not supporting enforcing the current gun laws, even those deeded in violation of 2A.

We have a law in my state that if you are caught with a gun that you are not licensed for, even if you only have the bullets it is a mandatory one year in prison. This is rarely ever enforced and who knows why outside the Liberal courtroom.
As we see in many cases some bozo robs a convenience store and threatens the clerk with a gun. The robbery charges are upheld but the gun violation is tossed out. Why?

We need to enforce the existing laws that only seem to impact the law abiding by the way and extend those to any criminal that is caught with an illegal gun.

I don't know why we are so lax on enforcing existing laws including those about immigration. It is almost like the progressives want to flood the country with the law less and keep those who are willing to use guns in their crimes walking the street with the good people. WHY?
