Can't have it both ways.
Immigration is a federal issue though .

No State has a right to make immigration laws in violation of the Federal Gov't laws. It has nothing to do with State rights.

This post makes no sense. How would allowing local law enforcement to hold illegal alien criminals for CBP affect the economy?

Let me guess. The driving force behind California’s economy is criminals. Yeah, makes sense. This is the kind of nonsense thinking that propelled California to the lunacy we’re in now.

Californians did not vote for this. The California state legislature forced this down everyone's throats.

The guy that spearheaded this , Kevin De Leon has admitted half his family is here illegally and uses fake documentation which means they are criminals .

Which makes me wonder why he can't be booted for conflict of interest. Half of his family broke the law, he gloats about and proposes laws to protect them at the cost of tax payers.

He’s going against Feinstein. I sincerely doubt he’ll win.

The sanctuary state nonsense is just his style. They care more about illegal aliens than the citizens of California. I’ll be on the lookout to sign the petition to repeal this crap.

One problem is they have pretty much the entire media brainwashing Democrat voters that if you are against sanctuary states or cities of illegal immigration in anyway
Then you are a racist , a bigot and plenty of other horrible things .

If you look back to the Bill Clinton era he was vocal about illegal aliens and he called them illegal aliens .

But things have been so twisted. Most don't even realize the actual costs of illegal immigration.
For some it costs them their life , like Kate Steinle who was killed senselessly by an illegal .
She is just one example of many .

Then there are the billions spent on healthcare etc on illegals and anchor babies .

Rights? These people are breaking the law. They are criminals and should be prosecuted on the federal or state level. Just because someone says "We won't arrest these criminals illegally entering the country" doesn't mean they aren't criminals.
