This is why sometimes I wonder if would be parents should have a license beforehand. and make sure they are mentally stable.

Sorry, but I just couldn't let that pass. Why couldn't he have more kids if that was so important to him?

It would be like a man killing his wife because he found out she was infertile and could never have kids instead of divorcing her and finding someone else. Would you find this understandable, also?

Don't misunderstand this -- in no case, do I think this situation would be understandable, and I am actually shocked that anyone would even try to excuse it.
