Christians believe in the Trinity, which is a great heresy in Islam because it compromises the Oneness of God. To devout Muslims, Christians are borderline polytheists. Christians believe that Jesus is God, which is also heretical in Islam. Islam considers Jesus to be a great prophet, but certainly not God.
If Christianity and Islam worshipped the same God, they wouldn’t be two distinct religions. In fact, the two religions have often fought violently with each other.
My husband is a christian and he does not believe that Jesus IS god. He believes that Jesus is god's son.
It's an example of setting boundries, and walking away from mockers- as Jesus commanded his disciples to do. I pray for them, but I don't have to like them or even communicate with them in order to do that.

Yea, it is good I don't remember it. Those people and these deserve to be let be in their beliefs. I do remember a church goer in the Roof case that said that she forgave him for his crime. Took sand to say that on the national news. Applause!
Does God want us to pray so that He gets the satisfaction of us asking for something or does He want us to pray so that we reflect and take the time to see things and contemplate them? Medical studies show that meditation is good for you. Prayer is a form of meditation. In prayer, you have the chance to reflect on events, challenges in your life and your direction while receiving benefits such as reducing stress and lowering your blood pressure.

Christmas was stolen by christians from the pagans. It was quite common to replace pagan/indigenous high days once the christians were done pillaging and raping. That was part of the subjugation of non-believers.
