what a coincidence that since they have done away with most spanking violence among kids and teens has skyrocketed
I've met many teachers in my life and half of them I wouldn't want training my dog in what is right and wrong, let alone my child. Actually I recall seeing a high school teacher stumbling down the street a couple months ago drunk off her arse....yah I want that person instilling there values in my kids.

teachers have been stripped of most of their abilities to teach.
and go check out myspace.com or facebook, I bet your kid's teacher has some nice pictures of herself in a thong bikini being manhandled by a dozen guys up.
it's called more media attention. violence hasn't skyrocketed, but perhaps reports have. now kids videotape it and all that. this does not breed violence, bad parenting does.
