The people are too divided to ever work together on such a task.
You may be right. But if enough people can realize that that the REAL battle is between the corrupt Elite (centered in the Washington DC geographic area) versus the other 90% of the population, then it just might happen.
Trump isn't going to "cut it". If people think that he or his administration can really do anything about our corrupt System (run by our corrupt Elite), then they are fooling themselves. The ONLY hope is an actual Revolution, just like in 1776.
Pre-emptive strike: "yeah, good luck with THAT, buddy..........let's see how you and your little Revolutionaries fare against tanks and Warthogs."

Yes. Study history a bit, Roman history especially. Elect someone willing to represent the people, and stop corruption. Someone that knows what they are doing. It is obviously not Trump at this point. He talked the talk, but has zero interest in walking the walk. But most of us knew that during the election. Its why he lost the popular vote.
You make it sound easy. Trump was one in a million---you have to be fantastically wealthy, purer than Washington, and willing to go through absolute hell and back (the totally corrupt Elite is not exactly interested in losing power).
See anyone who fits that bill?? Bueller?? Bueller??......
Can you think of any other way that our corrupt Elite will ever give up even a little of the hold they have over us???
yes, we start by voting for people that understand that elected office is there to SERVE the people, not lead them around by the nose.
we start by holding our politicians feet to the fire, and make them keep them keep the promises they made.
we start by voting for people instead of party.
we start by telling the media that we want honest reporting of all candidates, without bias.
we start by telling the candidates that we are tired of the mud and ***** slinging, and to get back to campaigning on the issues, and the record of the opposition, instead of dragging every bit if trash that can be found into the public eye.
we start by demanding better candidates from the parties, no more clintons, bushs, trumps, obamas, etc. but in order to get there we need the media to clean up its act.
I would imagine a legislator who is truly anti-establishment wouldn't come from business or law. How about folks stop picking those backgrounds if you really want change? Sounds better than a bloody revolution.
Any Revolution this time would be so bloody that there could be no survivors on the losers side.. I don't care which side but one must eradicate the other so there's no possibility that the losing belief system could resurface....
Totally agree. But most on the Left would back down and try to blend in. They don't have the stomach for real conflict.
If you can finangle yourself into the "good old boys/girls club", and play their corrupt game long enough, then yes indeed---you can acquire a measure of personal wealth and power. But what exactly does THAT do for the other 329,999,999 Americans who are living under a totally corrupt Elite who despise them???
