Syria has nothing to do with climate change. Neither does America, for that matter.
The Paris agreement was aimed at the US, and was an attempt to make the US less competitive. The originators sought to make America produce less and at greater cost.

The Syrians hung back while trying to work out some deal that benefited them. In the end, all they could do was sign on in an attempt to recruit The Looney Left onto their side.
It worked. Now, Syria has found friends in America.

True..we won't have to contribute to this $100 billion that the poor countries say they need because of what we did to them.

well time will tell if they can voluntarily reduce the earth's temperature by 1.5 degrees.
