Do you know what a purple state is? Swing. That post didn't say specifically that Trump had won there in 2016; more saying that this state, which tends to go either way, shifted away from Trump potentially with yesterday's results. Not definitive, of course, since they were not specifically voting on Trump.

Hmmm...I suppose possibly not a politician, though in a way, wouldn't you want someone who had at least some sort of idea of the ropes? Even as a city mayor, state congress, something? Running a business is different than a government. It's not that far off from saying something like...the airline industry needs a change, so let's hire pilots who have never flown.

I still wish for some new party (or parties) to rise up to be a truly viable third party or to replace the others. I think a big part of the problem is the parties themselves.

I want to have hope again for the nation. Hopefully the next president can bring it for all.

I was going to initially say that this ranks #1 as the most insane link I have read in 6 years on this forum.

Then I took another look and realised that it is a satirical list in the same style as The Onion.
