of course, he quickly changed tactics once you gave him an excuse to jump on a claim of 'racism':

"People" ????? Who is that? Obama? Hillary?

Millions of black Americans own guns. Your post is silly.

What results would that be?

Are you claiming that no black people buy guns in the South? I can tell you from personal experience that it's not true.

Your "southern hatred" is coming out.

Here he seems to be saying something quite different. Personally, I think it's a good start when someone identifies these as a "complex set of problems" & encouraging when the claim is "it's not beyond our ability to solve."

..."As big a problem as gun violence is for Chicago, it is not beyond our ability to solve," he said. "Ending this string of tragedies is our top priority as a city.

The mayor also announced a three-year, $36 million mentoring program for 7,200 at-risk kids in Chicago. He said he’s trying to fill a void in the lives of a lot of young people that’s being filled by gang leaders at this point.

“Our kids are yearning for that guidance. Our kids are yearning for that foundation. They need a moral compass to help point them in the right direction to make the right choices. So they can look back on the past with pride rather than shame.”

Emanuel's address comes as the city grapples with a 50-percent spike in homicides this year. He first announced his intentions in a Chicago Tonight interview last month.

"It's a complex set of problems that will be addressed in a very comprehensive way," Emanuel said. "Everything from police, to children, to what we have to do for their safety to guns, to making sure we're providing hope where there is despair." ...

I could shop at walmart 9 times, the 10th time something racist could happen and i'll still say it was expected. Nice try. Customer bought guns from the store multiple times, THIS time he was turned away for racist reasons, it's still expected. And the customer handled it nicely, record the bigot, don't flip out, and put his business practices on blast. The customer acted like he expected it.

I live in the South and I've seen my share of racism down here in Georgia. However, this interaction could have happened anywhere, not just in the South. This could have happened in Pennsylvania or Indiana.

Were you there? I doubt it. So all you have is this video. You have no idea what happened before the video.

So chill out.

But we don't know that there was any racism at all. We don't know the whole story.
