I am listening to Roy Moore on Hannity and he sounds credible. Said the mothers of two of the young women encouraged them to date him, according to their own statements. The age of consent is 16.
One who said he gave her wine when she was 18 (drinking age was 19) - he flatly denied it because they lived in a 'dry county.' Oops! WashingPoo should have checked the laws back then.
As for the fourteen year old, he doesn't remember her or her mother and pointed out what they claimed was a totally different pattern of behavior than the other three women. I wonder if that girl was remembering her divorced mother's boyfriend(s).

As for the 14-year-old, it's not a different patter of behavior. She was a teen, he was in his 30's and he was interested in having a relationship with her. That's the pattern.

I remember a girl in 8th grade who smoked, wore a face full of makeup, had bleached 'trashy' hair, dressed in short skirts and tight sweaters. She had a grown woman's figure. Certainly didn't act or speak like a kid. She dated young soldiers at the local army post. I doubt any of those guys would have guessed she was only 14.
Kids back then were more mature than today's coddled ones with extended childhoods. Forty years ago most girls just wanted to get married to leave home.

I worked with young teens 40 years ago, way back in 1977. 14 year olds, both then and now, are not capable of making mature decisions - neither the eight grader you remember, poor child, nor the young lady who says she was molested by this creep. While young girls and boys may be overly anxious to appear "grown up", they are not adults, not by any means, and society - and the law - has the responsibility to protect them from predators and to call out such predators when they are discovered.

Secondly, a woman caller made a good point today on a popular radio show: If it is true that Moore kissed an underage girl (while he was 30 years old) and tried to have a "relationship" (no sex has been reported to have happened in any case), that would make him a pedophile. As this woman pointed out, pedophiles don't stop. It is a behavior that continues. As much as Moore has been in the news over the years, and it has been a lot, why are there no other reports?
Woman caller was wrong, that's why. Pedophilia or paedophilia is a psychiatric disorder in which an adult or older adolescent experiences a primary or exclusive sexual attraction to prepubescent children.
A 14 y/o girl is not prepubescent. Well, I suppose there is an off-chance that she could be as some girls are late bloomers, not menstruating until 16 or so.
You are correct in that if he was attracted to one of these girls who still looked like a 6 year old girl (non-developed), then we'd likely see a pattern.
What I find interesting is that when the man is 30 and the girl 15, it is a horrible thing.
BUT, when the man is 45 and the girl is 30, it is perfectly all right.

So as it turns out one of these women making unfounded accusations against Moore worked for the DNC, and is a supporter of Moore's opponent.
