I think if he would repeatedly blamed White people and Christians for societal problems (such as bring up the bringing up slavery, Jim Crow laws, and racism against Blacks) his numbers would drop.
Thoughts?
Trump would require a complete restructuring of everything about him, to disengage the deplorables. He'd have to start acting politely and respectfully to everyone. He'd need to release his tax returns and divest himself of all his profit-making enterprises. Then fire all the corrupt members of his staff and cabinet and replace them with honest people who were dedicated to serving the public. He would have to sponsor legislation that would benefit everyone, such as undertaking major climate-change controls and the banning of most types of firearms. And The Wall would have to be scrapped.
Then maybe, his cult would rise up in outrage and disown him.

So it would appear that the desperation-fed stereotyping over in Left Field has reached a point where all that's left to the simpler minds is to parrot the lowest-common-denominator resentments, in the lowest-common-denominator language.
For the record, little boys and little girls, I hold a Bachelors' degree (in something stronger than liberal arts), have never owned a firearm, and spent the last fifteen years of my working life on the front lines of shops with a work force drawn from all ethnic groups. And I did not vote for Trump the last time around, but will the next time, if only to keep my nation safe from the likes of you.

Nope, it's a fact. We're the weakest we've been in at least 100 years. Everyone is working around us on international deals, diplomacy, trade deals, climate change. Our democratic institutions are crumbling, we're displaying elements of fascism and a dictatorship, we have the most corrupt administration in US history, we have people committing treason running the government.
