I'd like to get these religious nuts out of the Republican party altogether. No one with a brain can actually think President Trump believes this sort of crap. I know I certainly don't and that is one of the reasons his appeal was widened and one reason I support him.
Trump isn't even religious but he knew he had to pretend to get the conservative votes. So he said what they wanted to hear in order to get their votes. If he was such a good christian he would still be married to his first wife without any adultery. And he wouldn't boast about grabbing female parts. Honestly, I don't know why any christian would believe anything he says much less vote for him.
I really enjoyed hearing a great author talk about President Trump and Recognizing God's hand in the election of President Trump.
I really think it was a divine intervention myself that President Trump was elected an electoral landslide.
Very heartwarming also that Pat Robertson one of the foremost biblical scholars talk about the possibility of supernatural intervention!
The Bible teaches us to help the poor, to give everything you own to the poor, to heal the sick, love everyone, love your enemy, avoid war and the camel parable.
Trump openly attacks and hates South American immigrants and Muslims.
Trump threatens other countries with nuclear war and total destruction, and Trump wants to increase military spending when American already has the most powerful military on the planet 7x over.
And the above actions of Donald Trump 100% go against the most basic teachings of Jesus Christ.
The republican politicians have hoodwinked and taken America's Christians with TALK of God, prayer and abortion. And now today's Christians believe God sent Donald Trump by supernatural intervention.
But in reality the policies of Donald Trump are 100% the opposite of Jesus Christ, and what is the 100% opposite of Jesus? (The devil is the 100% opposite of Jesus, and logic would dictate that if any supernatural force sent Donald Trump it was Satan.)
And is the republicans opposition to abortion and the sacredness of a child's life actually real, or is it a lie designed to get Christian voters?
Over 10,000 children starve to death on this planet every day. How would republican politicians feel about the US government saving the lives of the 10,000 children that starve to death in poor countries each day?
Republicans would oppose saving those children's lives, and republicans would consider any attempt by the US government to save those children to be communism, socialism, nation building, helping those who made the wrong choices and even an act of war.
The Bible speaks about Satan taking the form of Jesus when he comes to Earth. And who is someone that takes money from the poor, takes money from healing the sick, hates others, makes threats of nuclear war and give massive amounts of money to the rich, is that the spirit of Jesus or Satan?
Robertson will probably regret that he said this about Trump, when he is revealed for all his crimes and swindles. I have friends who think that Trump is the Anti-Christ, come to send us into Armageddon. I hope they're wrong and Trump just vanishes into obscurity, which would be Hell for him.

You dont see a problem with this narrative. If god wanted him to win, that implies that god approved of trumps plan, which means he cant do no wrong, you dont see how this is problematic.
He said he was a Presbyterian, you have to listen to his words Finn.
The guy is no Christian, and never will be, my guess is his elegance lies elsewhere.
Yes, I agree. His words and actions show he is not a Christian in the sense most people define the word. Anyone can be a member of some denomination since birth, but it does not actually mean anything. Perhaps is bold down to the definition of a "Christian", because many Americans are cultural Christians, meaning they identify as Christians. They celebrate Christmas, and might go to church on easter etc. Then there are people who allow God to play a part in their lives aka 'born again Christians'. They have asked God's forgiveness and have submitted to His will.

Yes, politicians often have to pretend to get votes, and they all do it, no matter what party or what ideology. Like myself, I don't think President Trump is religious at all, and he probably views religion as archaic and a crutch. He believes in the power of himself and gains his self-worth from within.
