Yup, and you idiots can't figure out why you can't discuss gun issues with gun rights supporters when you insult them first.

I don't know too many negotiations that get anywhere when you anger the other side.
Of course you also think that by blocking a freeway and inconveniencing people or vandalizing in a riot that you will convince people to see things your way.

"Hmmm, I think I'd like to ask that girl out on a date. I think I'll start by insulting her and calling her names. That will make her more receptive to me."

America needs to accept these incidents if they want to abide by the Constitution.

Liberals need to understand that murder occurred before the invention of the gun...

If I lived in rural America where there are bears, wolves, lynx, ocelot, mountain lion, jaguar and a host of snakes and other animals that can kill you then I would feel the need to own a gun. I wouldn't however feel the need to have a gun if I lived in a city such as NYC.

As for the tragedy in Florida, another horrible event and my heart goes out to the the victims and their families.
Well US of America does have those animals you mention even the occasional Jaguar is reportedly spotted, but the most dangerous animal you are likely to encounter is man in an American city .

And no, we Americans are not going to give up repeating or autoloading firearms 150 and 100 years onwards today.

Why don't we do through background checks before anyone is allowed to purchase a gun. Why not do psychological testing, talk to their employees, teachers, families and friends. People blame it on the mentally ill, yet how do we know they are mentally ill unless we do the research before handing over guns to them. And by the way, there are millions who have a mental illness yet they don't go out and kill people. This is a real burden and stigma on them because they are just trying to live there lives whether they have anxiety, depression, bi polar....whatever.

Can we put away those with unnatural phobias too? That’s a mental illness right? Are you afraid of spiders, snakes, or heights? Can’t own a gun...

Doctors need to understand that death occurred before cancer treatment, so there is no reason to treat cancer patients....

Seems like all you can talk about is everything but the weapon. Is there a reason why you want to stray away from it? That's exactly the NRA's talking point all the time, it's always something else but the gun.

Own up to reality. Guns especially assault rifles make it way too easy to kill. Unless you're psychic and can read people's minds, you cannot predict what any individual will do next with precision.

The FBI was told that the shooter was a risk but they were too busy with investigating Trump and now kids died.
